**Position Overview**:
The Machine Operator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of automated and semi-automated equipment within our logistics facility. This position supports daily production, packaging, and distribution goals by maintaining quality, accuracy, and workflow standards in a fast-paced environment.

**What you'll do**:

- Operate, monitor, and maintain assigned machinery and equipment to meet production and shipping targets.
- Perform start-up, shut-down, and basic troubleshooting procedures according to standard operating guidelines.
- Load materials or products into machines and ensure continuous and accurate output.
- Conduct quality checks to verify product specifications, labeling, and packaging integrity.
- Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and stand-up forklifts as needed for material handling.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting hazards, malfunctions, or near misses immediately.
- Assist with line changeovers, adjustments, and preventative maintenance as directed.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely product flow and order completion.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reporting documentation.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and GMP standards.
- Support cross-training efforts and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

**What you'll need**:

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
- Experience with packaging, conveyor, or labeling systems considered an asset.
- Certification for **Stand-up Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Stand-up Forklift** (required).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy (data entry, reporting systems).

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
