**JOIN OUR TEAM**

**POSITION FUNCTION**:
The Youth Worker/Youth Programmer provides support to youth, facilities educational workshops for youth, and in the community. The Youth Worker works with youth in the age range and risk group specified by the program. The Youth Worker works closely with other youth programs within MOSAIC as well as community partners.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide intensive support to youth in the program using the program delivery model
- Remain current with CARF standards relevant to the program, project, or service
- Conduct intake and assessments using a structured process
- Develop a client-centered care plan, and support youth in implementing it to achieve their individual goals
- Provide counselling support, accompaniment, resource information, advocacy, and referral as needed
- Organize and facilitate workshops for youth and parents as needed, and other gathering opportunities in the community to promote the program and MOSAIC
- Work collaboratively with the team; facilitate program team meetings, coordinate the development of an action plan for the care team, monitor progress, and adjust as needed
- Understand and participate in the evaluation of the program or project; may develop and implement evaluation of program components; provide recommendations for revisions to program/project model and operation
- Maintain accurate documentation on all clients and activities using the in-house database system and required program forms

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in or diploma in Social Work, Humanities, Counselling, Child & Youth Care, Criminal Justice or a related field, or a certificate or diploma or course work in related fields, or a combination of training and experience in an area related to the program, project, or service.
- Spanish Language required and other languages are an asset

**COMPENSATION: $28.58 - $29.25 per hour**

**HOURS**:
**full-time 35 hours/week,**fixed term until March 31, 2026(Might be possibility of extension depending on funding)**
