**COMPANY SUMMARY**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in setting up and auditing project data in BigTime to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Create standardized project templates for consistent project setup and cost reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile project cost data, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Support monthly and long-term financial forecasting, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Support project managers to ensure invoicing accuracy by reconciling progress reports, validating approvals, and proactively addressing billing delays
- Identify cost variances and provide detailed variance analysis reports comparing budget, forecast, and actuals.
- Work with various teams, including Operations, Finance and Technology to provide project level financial insights and compliance support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost control processes, reporting accuracy, and project controls procedures.
- Provide training and support to project team members on cost control practices.
- Maintain a contract governance dashboard with automated notifications for renewals, key milestones, and fee adjustments.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are closed out properly before final invoicing.
- Utilize client invoicing systems to submit, track, and manage invoices through to payment confirmation.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and update payment status, ensuring alignment with financial reporting.
- Generate and maintain accruals reports, capturing unbilled revenue and ensuring accurate financial forecasting.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post secondary education in accounting, finance, project management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cost control, financial reporting, document control or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience working on projects in the energy industry.
- Proficiency in Professional Automated Services tools (PSA), preference given to users with experience in BigTime, QuickBooks and MS365.
- Experience with budget forecasting, cost tracking, accruals, and invoicing processes.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify cost trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a dynamic project environment.
- Understanding of contract terms, change orders, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in process improvement and governance implementation.
- Support tracking of contract terms and ensure accurate billing and compliance.
