**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable management.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
- Support financial auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to assist with financial planning.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks for account management and reporting.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
- Manage Contractor/Vendor accounts.
- Manage fuel card reporting.
- Ensure tax compliance with GST, PST.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including account reconciliation and financial auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero and QuickBooks, is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
