**Swine Technician at Pine hurst.** Pine Hurst is an 8,400 head finishing site located near the community of Pansy, MB.

Your days will include:

- Carrying out feeding programs
- Selecting, sorting and loading pigs for transport
- Prepping rooms for barn wash and for animal entry
- Receiving pigs
- Performing minor maintenance tasks
- Performing general on farm duties
- Recognizing and treating livestock health issues
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Carrying out vaccination programs
- Other duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you need to possess:

- A self-motivated attitude
- Good work ethic
- The ability to work well with others
- Availability to work rotating weekend shifts
- Able to meet all physical requirements of the job
- Minimum 1-year swine tech experience an asset
