**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate 5-ton truck to transport bakery products to designated locations.
- Verifying Invoices and Ensuring Correct product counts at each stop.
- Physical Lifting and Product handling.
- Stocking and merchandising bread on shelves according to store planograms.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes.
- Communicate effectively customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed during deliveries.
- Support and contribute to the growth of sales along the assigned route.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy and repeatedly.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail in following delivery instructions and safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Valid class 5 driver's license.
- Previous experience in customer service is considered an asset.
- Must have clean driving record.
