**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**

  • Safely operate 5-ton truck to transport bakery products to designated locations.
  • Verifying Invoices and Ensuring Correct product counts at each stop.
  • Physical Lifting and Product handling.
  • Stocking and merchandising bread on shelves according to store planograms.
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes.
  • Communicate effectively customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
  • Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed during deliveries.
  • Support and contribute to the growth of sales along the assigned route.

**Skills**

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to lift heavy and repeatedly.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Attention to detail in following delivery instructions and safety protocols.

**Requirements**

  • Valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Previous experience in customer service is considered an asset.
  • Must have clean driving record.
