This location will be unique as it is attached to a 30 room waterfront hotel.Freds Hospitality is a growing brand, this role would be ideal for someone looking for growth in the hospitality industry.

**Position Overview**: As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will lead a dedicated team, manage day-to-day activities, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability. You will also support with some hotel responsibilities as needed

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Help all restaurant operations, including front and back of house.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Work with the GM to implement marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and retention.
- Support the GM to Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to achieve profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manager in a high-volume restaurant, preferably Italian cuisine.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of restaurant financials and performance metrics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiar with Toast POS, Push scheduling and marksman an asset
