**Key responsibilities**:
**Diagnostic Patient Care**
- Remove ABPMs for previously scheduled patients; confirm and document patient symptomology and activities while wearing monitor.
- Download the results for ABPMs and HMs and ensure that data is accurate and properly reflective of patient demographics and patient’s recount of the day.
- Identify unsafe blood pressure readings/heart rate/HM findings and patient presentations and involve the appropriate physician (or delegate) as necessary.
- Clean all equipment to standard between each patient for illness/infection prevention and control.
**Clinical Support (on an as-needed basis, the ATA may be asked to assist with**:
- Room patients for consultation, follow-up/testing appointments prior to seeing physician.
- Obtain 12-lead ECG and vitals (including but not limited to: height, weight, waist circumference, pulse, blood pressure, SpO2, and temperature) as necessary.
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of vitals, patient assessment(s), medication regime(s), and overall physical status as per clinical policy.
**Teamwork**
- Participate as part of the administrative clinical team to prioritize patient safety and ensure positive patient experience(s) as required.
- Work collaboratively with all C-health team employees and staff by being an effective team member assisting others as required, working with different personality types, participating in team discussions, and communicating with appropriate supervisor/manager.
- Participate in bi-weekly mock code scenarios for clinical and diagnostic teams.
**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of Medical Office Assistant program with a minimum 2-years of experience with direct patient contact; or
- RCT - mínimal experience required; or
- EMR - mínimal experience required.
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program and active or eligible registration and practice permit with CLPNA.
- Must be able to independently auscultate a manual blood pressure.
- BCLS
- Flexibility and an ability to react quickly in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator.
- Proficiency in computer programs specifically EMRs and Microsoft Office.
- Access to reliable transportation, as this job will entail movement across sites (Calgary and Airdrie) most days.
- Valid drivers license.
