This is a Night position working every other weekend with a static rotation. Description: As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results. Additional Required Qualifications: Recent or relevant phlebotomy experience in a RRL setting or an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity within the last year. Experience with EPIC. Proficiency in data entry. Demonstrates excellent reliability, accuracy, productivity and quality of work in adherence to policies, procedures and performance standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications: Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Courses or training in process improvement or change management. Experience with neonatal skin puncture within the last year. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
