**Manager, Grants & Project Coordination (Full Time Permanent - Non Union)**
As a community-based natural resource management agency, the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority envisions a healthy and vibrant natural environment with shared greenspace and clean water for all.
NPCA’s work supports the conservation, enhancement, and sustainability of healthy watersheds with programs and services that focus on drinking water source protection, flood and hazard management, endangered species protection, ecosystem restoration, community stewardship, education, and land management.
NPCA is the caretaker of 43 conservation areas within the Niagara Peninsula watershed held in public trust for recreation, heritage preservation, conservation, and education. These natural and shared greenspaces marry nature, culture, and adventure to create limitless opportunities for discovery.
**The Opportunity**
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Overseeing the portfolio of projects and related processes to ensure alignment with NPCA strategic objectives, effective prioritization, and optimal resource allocation.
- Establishing, communicating, and maintaining project management best practices, standards, tools, and templates and supporting cross-departmental project leaders to ensure high performance and accountability
- Researching and identifying external funding opportunities aligned with NPCA strategic goals and project priorities and collaborating with relevant staff to pursue opportunities
- Liaising with internal teams, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation, and funders to coordinate the submission of funding proposals and reports
- Creating short
- and long-term project budgets and financial models based on externally funded project needs, requirements and criteria
**What you Bring**
- A Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Finance or related
- Five (5) years progressive project management experience
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with grant writing strategies
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate and guide cross-functional teams
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation an asset
- Experience within or knowledge of the environmental field an asset

- An annual salary starting at $99,363 with the ability for growth to $116,897 (35 hours/week - 2025 rate)
