**EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS**
**Required Education**
- Post secondary degree. Supply Chain Professional certification or equivalent considered an asset.
**Materials Expediter, Procurement - CORE COMPETENCIES**
- Post secondary degree. Supply Chain Professional certification or equivalent considered an asset.
- Proven procurement expediting experience and expertise with complex organizations -experience required in planning, implementing & managing materials strategy, preferably in aerospace/electronics.
- Strategic expedited sourcing methodology experience, and keen focus on On-Time -Delivery and Quality.
- Strong demonstrated experience managing new vendors as well as a strong focus on procurement related cost reduction initiatives.
- Experience executing supplier relationship management frameworks.
- Strong interdepartmental collaboration and teamwork skillset
- SAP/MRP/ERP systems experience (preferred)
- AS9100D/ISO9001 Quality Management System exposure
- Demonstrated business acumen.
**Materials Expediter, Procurement - FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Quality Engineering, the Materials Expediter, Procurement will execute high caliber materials expedite activities with a keen focus on strategic planning to ensure the overall success of WOLF’s Supply Chain.
- Working in close partnership with the procurement department to drive a comprehensive materials procurement strategy. The Materials Expediter, Procurement will execute best practices and ensure consistency of industry principles, policies, and procedures for WOLF’s supply chain procurement activities.
- The Materials Expediter, Procurement will proactively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of addressing materials procurement risks (availability, cost, and schedule), while remaining on the cusp of related industry behaviours.
- The Materials Expediter, Procurement will collaborate internally with Sales, Production and Program Management to ensure materials availability is consistent with demand requirements. Externally, the expediter will work directly with vendors with a focus on schedule and delivery as well as assist with the management of customer materials related communications.
- The Materials Expediter, Procurement coordinates with Engineering, Operations and Sales functions to provide materials related insights into COTS product lead times while operating according to and in compliance with all standards and procedures to ensure strong data integrity that helps to achieve supply chain KPI’s.
- Provides support to Production Operations and Engineering in securing materials related market information when unexpected component obsolescence or material availability interruptions impact build planning.
- Utilize and leverage procurement data and reporting systems to maximize material availability and manage inventory levels effectively and accurately.
**CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS**:
WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements.
Applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to show either Canadian or US citizenship, or Canadian Permanent Resident, and undergo a police check with no criminal background.
