MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS_
- Responsible to maintain the operation of the Can line, completing machine change overs in a safe and efficient manner as required.
- To start and maintain the operation of the can line
- Ability to produce the highest quality product efficiently while following proper shutdown procedures
- Change the dates according to the shop order requirements
- Operator the IPC interface and on line labelers
- Start up, programming, cleaning and proper shutdown of all printers
- Remove jam cans as required
- Performing procedures for startup and safety checklist
- Cross check log sheet and shop order to prevent errors
- Check and maintain good weight control, change weights and document weight checks
- Checking coffee colour to standards
- Complete size change overs as required
- Grease machinery where needed
- Perform cleaning procedures and general maintenance, monitor and alert appropriate personnel for required maintenance
- Knowledge of SOPs for machine operation, cleaning, CQPs
- Other duties as assigned

- Must possess technical aptitude. Technical background an asset.
- Working knowledge of the Can Lines and all the equipment associated with it.
- Some computer experience preferred
- Demonstrate safe work habits and excellent work ethics
- Accuracy and detail oriented
- Work well independently and as a team member
- Knowledge of SOPs cleaning, start up, safety, operation, CQP
- Good organizational skills
