**Job Title**:Packaging Operator
**Employment Type**:1 Year Contract
**Shift**:Rotating (Day, Afternoon & Night)***
**Department**:Production
**Reports to**:Supervisor, Production

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operation of production equipment in Primary and Secondary areas, according to GMPs, SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Lead and/or participate in all line changeover activities including equipment changes.
- Perform related computer tasks: SAP, IMS.
- Prepare and complete all documentation applicable to production i.e., packaging instructions and incident checklists.
- Clean equipment, rooms, and general areas for production use.
- Write and/or revise SOPs for new equipment and/or processes.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Participate in quality and customer complaint investigations.
- Lead and/or participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Work in other Manufacturing/Packaging areas as required.

**Knowledge / Education / Experience Required**:
High School or equivalent.

**Job-Related Experience**:

- Working knowledge of packaging production equipment and understanding of packaging processes.
- Knowledge and experience with IMS and SAP production transactions or similar operation systems.
- Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player, with experience working in a production team environment.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Other computer skills such as word and excel are highly desirable.
- Ability to use and understand automation solutions such as IP21, eBRS, CDISY, FreeWeigh,etc.

**Availability Requirement**:Must be available Monday through Friday for all three shifts, with occasional overtime on weekends as needed.
