**About the role**:
**Position Type/Schedule**
This role will be an in-office role. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week.
**Work Location**:Divisional Office **-**#215- 9440 202nd Street Langley, BC V1M 4A6
**What are the Key Accountabilities?**
**Customer Service**
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers, ensuring a great experience with EBH.
- Coordinates with partner manufacturers to deliver accurate product information and recommend technical solutions that best meet customer needs.
- Follows up on conversations, quotes, and completed projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Works closely with Business Development, Technical Inside Sales, and branch employees to expand the Automation & Controls product footprint, develop quotes, and oversee project execution.
- Assists with end-user training, including conducting joint seminars with supplier representatives when necessary.
**Technical Design & Sales**
- Develops customer solutions using EPLAN, Rittal MCP systems, and Perforex shop capabilities, delivering complete designs, engineering workflows, and packaged solutions.
- Supports Account Managers and Business Development on sales calls by providing technical expertise to address customer needs and expand the product footprint.
- Identifies and passes on leads outside of Automation & Controls to the appropriate sales staff.
- Stays current on automation products to guide sales teams on new launches and product phase-outs.
**Quotations**
- Determines technical specifications for customer projects.
- Works with Technical Inside Sales to develop and provide quotations for customer project specifications and inputs quotations when necessary.
- Reviews quotation logs as needed and follows up with customers.
**Internal Relations**
- Works with Technical Inside Sales to obtain pricing and data sheets for customer needs.
- Supports Business Development with technical product expertise to best serve customer product needs.
**Training**
- Develops training materials and presentations for customers and branch sales representatives.
- Facilitates internal and external training sessions such as lunch and learns and billable technical training.
**What You'll Bring to This Role**:
- A diploma or degree in an applicable field (ASct/CET/EIT/PE/PEng)
- 3+ years of related industry experience
- 3+ years of experience in a design engineering role (MCC and/or control panel design) combined with technical sales
- Working knowledge of EPLAN (ideally Pro Panel) Software is an asset
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office and the ability to learn new software
- Demonstrated proficiency with project management
- Proven ability to form strategic partnerships, build relationships, and respect cultural diversity
- Ability to be inclusive, collaborative, and respectful
