**Service Desk Analyst**: - Status:_ FT - Hybrid (Remote/Onsite) - File Number:_ 2200003364 - Location:_ Lakeridge Health Oshawa - Wage Schedule:_ $32.006 - $37.078 per hour - Program:_ Information Technology The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing first level incident and problem management support. This includes capturing problem incident and service requests, educating users, facilitating access requests, following daily operations checklists, solving hardware and software problems remotely, and providing call or ticket escalation to users. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: " Accurately and effectively document service and incident tickets in the Manage Engine ticketing system. " Properly identify, research, and resolve technical problems for users by providing guidance regarding software and hardware issues. " Prioritize user incident and requests to ensure that appropriate severity of an incident is assigned. " Liaison and work with colleagues (tier 1, 2, and 3 analysts). " Monitor and act on improving quality of service. " Other duties as required. **QUALIFICATIONS**: " College diploma or university degree in the field of Information Technology, Information Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or 5 years equivalent work experience. ITIL Foundation certification is an asset. " Recent experience with TCP/IP network interface/Web technology, and Active Directory services and system as it relates to solving basic connectivity problems. " Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task " Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations. " Experience providing exceptional customer service " Exceptional knowledge of healthcare technology environment is an asset. " Demonstrated progressive experience in the management of a support team. " Proven track record of developing and providing Service Level Agreements and Service Desk deliverables. " Knowledge of the whole IT Service Management cycle - Incident Management. Problem Management, Change Management, etc. is a plus.
