**Job Requirements**
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.

- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing activities.
- Planning programming and curriculums based upon age and children’s needs
- Creating opportunities for learning and growth, setting up environments for young children
- Supervising and caring for children and complying with ratio
- Following Shalom Daycare policies and procedures and the ECEBC Code of ethics
- Working as a team player alongside other staff and families
- Work calmly in a high-stress environment when necessary
- Ability to lift young children for care and changing
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
- General clean-up of classroom

**Requirements**:
BC license to Practice ECA/ECE/IT educator certificate, criminal record check, references, and CPR

Wage: ECA - $21/hr

ECE - $25/hr

IT - $27/hr

**(Does not include wage enhancement, $4/hr)**

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, 8/hrs per day
