As a Merchandise & Logistics Coordinator, you will be accountable for successful execution of merchandise order handling. This includes co-ordination of all aspects of the order from production to final invoicing. This role liaises with all stakeholders to ensure successful execution of all assigned orders.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Ensures vendor’s Shipping documents are submitted to forwarder prior to PO port’s arrival.
- Ensures Bills of lading are released accordingly.
- Tracks, reviews, and files Packing lists and PO breakdown data with “Shipped Quantity”.
- Assists with PO Receiving issues process by communicating and reviewing with warehouse when the issue is identified and providing relevant details.
- Supports the review of Proforma invoices (PI), files and updates Production WIP report accordingly.
- Enters FOB prices in PLM for carryover styles.
- Uploads Packing Lists to internal system and teams up with warehouse receiving team by sharing Packing lists.
- Updates and publish weekly internal inbound shipment report.
- Tracks Incoming forwarder Shipments (Daily cargo report - distribution List) and communicates with forwarder regarding report’s discrepancies.
- Updates internal Production WIP with factory name & address, cargo CRD, Booking ID, Pre-PL received date
- with team lead support.
- Effectively update PO Master Document
- Assist with the processing and logging of incoming packages as required.
- Ensure Shipment Bookings with forwarder are secured on a timely manner.
- Arranges for customs clearance and destination trucking services. Manage records for empty return.
- Responsible for placing inventory orders from Merchandising team.
- Other responsibilities as required.
**Experience, Education & Designations**:
- Minimum 2 years in a Merchandising and/or Logistics Coordinator or similar role
- Minimum 1 year of PLM experience with _super user_ access and level of expertise
- Demonstrable experience with Daily Logistics Operations: Engage with suppliers, manage vessel bookings, and ensure seamless logistics coordination.
- Demonstrable experience in maintaining oversight of delivery timelines and communicating issues and delays to stakeholders in a timely manner.
**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
- Detailed oriented with outstanding organizational skills
- Intermediate Excel experience using shortcuts & formula functions, presenting data in visual form/charts, sorting/filtering, creating reports/dashboards, capturing & recording important data.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to proactively identify supply chain concerns and challenges. Communicate such findings to leadership.
- Ability to interact and work collaboratively cross-functionally and within different verticals.
- Excellent English communication skills - written and oral.
