- Key Responsibilities:_
- Your expertise is essential in supporting R&D and validation site initiatives for the West Region. Conduct simulations using internal models for poultry. Collect technical farm information to facilitate benchmarking. Manage and regularly update ingredients and rations for customers who mix feed on their own farms._
- _ Innovate and Translate: Convert cutting-edge research and practical experiences into our animal feed portfolio._
- _ Expert Support: Provide invaluable nutrition expertise to marketing, technical consulting, and sales teams._
- _ Quality Assurance: Monitor feed formulations to ensure they meet top-tier quality performance and animal health standards._
- _ Product Development: Introduce new food concepts and contribute to product innovation._
- _ Knowledge Transfer: Support the sales team with technical know-how, training, and customer meetings._
- _ Collaborate and Communicate: Work with various departments (operations, procurement, pricing, QA/QC, sales, formulation) to ensure seamless integration and updates._

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- You hold a BSc in Animal Science, and an MSc in Animal Nutrition would be a bonus Eligibility for membership to the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists (MIA) or member of another recognized professional Agrology association, is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of poultry nutrition, and the ability to provide valuable advice to producers, is highly valued.
- Able to work independently while being an active team player. Your strong communication skills will enable you to provide technical and sales support to producers effectively.
- You thrive under pressure, excel at managing short deadlines, and have a knack for prioritizing tasks based on importance, urgency, and risk.
- Translating technical information into easily understandable terms is one of your strengths.

**GOOD TO KNOW**
- You have a genuine enthusiasm for learning and embracing new technologies and innovations. Your meticulous attention to detail and methodical work habits set you apart.
- You are open to occasional travel within the Region and even out of province.
- You have intermediate knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Experience with formulation software such as Brill would be a valuable asset.
