The successful applicant will have the opportunity to help co-ordinate and construct this highly influential annual event while working at the site location as well as in the Head Office located in Guelph, Ontario.

**Knowledge/Skills Required**:

- Agricultural knowledge and experience and/or agricultural event experience considered an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills (especially in working with volunteers), organizational ability, time and project management skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be capable of considerable physical work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience using the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must be prepared to work at the IPM Site Location during set-up weeks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- General knowledge of electrical and/or construction considered an asset.

It is important to note that this is a new position and as such the responsibilities will evolve. Being able to adapt to the needs of the Association is required.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Arranging electrical contractors for hydro installation, maintaining contact throughout set up and event.
- Arrange transportation of storage containers between locations
- Maintain inventory of storage containers, ensuring accurate information is recorded.
- Travel throughout Ontario with extended overnight stays are required at certain times of the year (most travel expenses paid)
- Liaison with event suppliers; coordinating delivery, set up and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Monitor the progress of the IPM Site location during set-up weeks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work with exhibitors/vendors and ensuring safety protocols are being followed.
- Research and inspect future match locations by direction of the Board of Directors
- Attend Board of Director meetings
- Work jointly with the Executive Director and staff in providing guidance to Committee Chairs/volunteers.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
