- **RDJ Bakeries Ltd**_ is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our growing team.
**Job Purpose**
Responsible for monitoring product, paperwork and employee practices throughout the plant via direct supervision of Quality Auditors, as well as maintaining technical production information that is issued to the production floor, to maintain Food safety and Quality standard.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Employee will be directly responsible for Monitoring and leading the day to day activities of the Quality Assurance auditors.
- Employee will be responsible for ensuring that the product manufactured meets the Company’s finished product quality and safety expectations, as per customer requirements.
- Employee will review all Quality Auditor Records to ensure they are completed, correct, up to date and deviations/corrective actions are addressed in timely manner.
- Individual will provide immediate and direct support to live quality related issues as they occur on the plant floor, including completing full investigations on product quality and Quality Hold items to present to the Quality Manager.
- Individual will ensure proper procedures are being followed during regular, customer specific, organic and allergen changeovers, and provide assistance to Quality Auditors as needed.
- Employee will be responsible for issuing documentation changes to the production floor, including training of applicable staff, as directed by the Quality Manager.
- Individual will be required to participate in recalls, Traceability exercises.
- Individual will be required to provide assistance during customer visits or third-party audits.
- Individual will be required to provide assistance for Customer complaints investigations.
- Individual will be responsible for Maintaining the Swab inventory to ensure that enough allergen swabs are always kept in stock.
- Individual will be responsible to coordinate for Monthly Belt inspections.
- Individual will be required to coordinate for Environmental monitoring swabbing (Listeria, Salmonella and Equipment etc.).
- Individual will ensure that chemical concentrations remain in spec and proper corrective actions are taken when deviation occur.
- When new products are launched, samples are to be collected for shelf life validations and to send to customers when required.
- Coach and provide sanitation team with tools and resources to assist team members on skill development and growth.
- Ensure that Daily & Weekly housekeeping duties are performed to an acceptable level.
- Employee will be responsible for providing training to employees as directed by Quality Manager.
- Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.
- Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures.
- Approve the vacation requests.
- Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
- Issue disciplinary action when needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Must be able to follow written and verbal communication.
- Must have a good understanding of the English language.
- Must be able to work with mínimal management.
- Great attention to detail with accuracy, especially in regard to product specifications
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including multitasking
- Must have familiarity with HACCP and Quality Procedures.
- Must have shift flexibility in order to provide support to all Quality and Sanitation Team members.
