The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) provides strategic leadership, advice, and guidance to the Human Resources division, playing a critical role in aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CHRO is accountable for strategic planning, divisional performance, and reporting. This role oversees the division’s budget, including leading the budgeting process and maintaining accountability for overall financial performance. The CHRO is responsible for providing leadership oversight of organization wide HR services including Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection, Talent Management, Disability Management, Learning and Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and proactive Health & Safety management. Additionally, the CHRO develops and maintains HR-related guidelines, processes, and procedures for TRCA, working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to standardize procedures and ensure compliance with relevant external technical standards.
