**Job Summary**:
We are looking for Cashier to join our team The cashier is responsible to scan the customer’s selections, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers about products, promotions, or item location. They will also respond to customer concerns, process refunds or exchanges of items, and maintain a clean workspace.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Process cash register payments by cash, credit card, gift card, and debit
- Maintain a cash register stock for full shift
- Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts
- Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift
- Assist customers by answering questions about our products and programs (our loyalty cards), ongoing promotions and fundraisers, and our services (home delivery)
- Ensure the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers; sanitize the check-stand conveyor belt
- Stock and replace products in the check-stands and Customer Service desk
- Complete store opening and closing duties
- Performs other related duties as assigned

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication and people skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
