Vancouver, Canada Happy Farm Market Full time

Happy Farm Market is a local produce and grocery store in Kerrisdale, carrying Asian specialty products.

Store hours: Monday through Sunday, 9:30am-6:00pm.

The Cashier greets customers and assists customers with purchases. The Cashier answers customer queries at the store and over the phone. The Cashier processes payments for customers. The Cashier also packs items and stocks items on shelves. Some heavy lifting may be required. We are looking for honest, motivated, and hard-working individuals to attend to customers and assist with store duties.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Greeting customers
- Answering customer questions in-person and over the phone
- Processing payments for customers
- Wrapping, bagging, and packing items
- Stocking items
- Managing inventory
- Moving items in and out of storage
- Receiving and processing deliveries
- Cleaning and tidying around the store
- Some heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Assisting packers with some back-end duties

**Qualifications**
- Work experience as a cashier or in a similar role in the produce/grocery area
- Minimum high school diploma

- Mandarin-speaking proficiency is an asset

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 24 per week
