**Invigilator for Exams on Computer**

Coast English Testing - Official IELTS Test Centre is looking for qualified individuals to join our team of invigilators. The location of work is **535 Granville Street, Vancouver.**

This is a part-time on-call position (around 8 hours on average per week) ideal for individuals looking for additional income. Regular working hours are available on weekends from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM or from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

As an invigilator, your goal is to ensure that test takers have a positive test experience while upholding exam standards and protocols throughout the examination process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming test takers to the test venue and assisting them with the registration process
- Arranging the examination area, including the setup of workstations, computers, and displaying of informational signs and notices
- Assisting administrators and/or test day supervisors with executing computer-based exams
- Reading out scripted instructions to test takers
- Distributing and collecting test materials
- Monitoring and assisting test takers during the tests, while upholding the security and integrity of the test
- Escorting test takers to and from the test room as needed
- Reporting any incidents, cheating/malpractice, and misconduct to the supervisor
- Cleaning and disinfecting equipment and test venue after the test

**Requirements**:

- Two professional references (one of which must be from a direct supervisor or manager)
- Proof of education (minimum secondary school completion)
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding security protocols
- Attention to detail and ability to identify cheating or misconduct
- Ability to troubleshoot computers
- Excellent customer care skills
- Strong communication skills in English (IELTS band score 6.5 or above)

Successful applicants must attend **ONE**of the following mandatory orientation and training sessions from **5:00pm to 8:00pm** at:
**7380 King George Boulevard, Surrey**on **9th October OR 4250 Kingsway, Burnaby** on **15th October**.

Compensation starts at $20.41 per hours plus 4% vacation pay.
