Tetra-Chem Industries Ltd. Is a rapidly growing, privately held custom chemical manufacturing company seeking a general labourer. The position reports directly to the Plant Manager. This position is one member of a cross-functional team and must be able to partner with employees from other areas of the business including but not limited to Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Health and Safety, and Human Resources, to achieve the business plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- General duty wash-up of used drums, pails, and totes
- Maintain wash-up area in a clean and tidy manner to ensure packaging is available to chemical blenders when required
- Floor cleaning with ride on zamboni
- Fleet Vehicle washing inside and out
- Filling customer orders
- Assist in shipping and receiving
- Assist in staging order for delivery
- Cleaning ink filled canisters at customer request
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities.
- Must follow safe work practices and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for health and safety procedures.
- Take part in on going education and training.
- Responsible for completing end of day procedures.
- Execute all other duties required by the position and/or asked by the immediate supervisor.
- Complies with the company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures including the wearing of PPE, Lockout, Guarding, WHMIS etc
- Flexible work hours required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance.
- Must also be able to concentrate on tasks.
- The ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
- Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.
- Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
- Receive and inspect product upon delivery from vendors
- Load and unload product to and from trailers.
- Mange house keeping activities when requested. Collect and dispose garbage
- Assist with chemical formula preparation, dispensing and palletizing
- Assist with order preparation and staging

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
