The Junior Buyer ensures the effective and efficient procurement of goods and services to ensure the smooth and effective operations of the organization. By providing the service, you will make a difference through you professional and courteous representation of DynaLIFEDx.

**Major Functions and Responsibilities**
- Generate standard stock purchase orders.
- Generate and maintain standard stock orders and open stock purchase orders.
- Troubleshoot all issues pertaining to orders and shipments including potential lab generated stock shortages.
- Assist the Buyer to maintain vendor contracts and pricing agreement files.
- Administer online office supply procurement at the end user level ensuring process compliance.
- Expedite outstanding purchase orders and shipments.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Product sourcing and research.
- Administrative duties as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Intermediate computer skills
- Professionalism, discretion and confidentiality in all circumstances.
- Excellent customer service focus and attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective negotiating skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask and deal with multiple conflicting priorities.

Required Experience
- 1-3 years experience in purchasing is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Great Plains Financial Software is an asset.
- Working knowledge of basic supply chain principles.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Purchasing certification, or working towards a Purchasing certification, would be an asset.
