Avenue Animal Hospital in beautiful Saint John New Brunswick is looking for a new addition to our team.
The position is open to a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician. We are open to new graduates. There is ample opportunity for mentoring.
We are in the process of transitioning to computerized medical records with integration
We have digital radiography, and soon to be updating to in house IDEXX lab system
We are updating our surgery suite to ensure we are maintaining the best equipment for safe anaesthesia which includes electronic monitoring, IV fluid pump etc.
Renumeration will be commensurate with experience and will include Vacation, benefits package, CE allowance, and uniform allowance.
Saint John is a good-sized city with a small-town feel. Surrounded by Fundy Coast line, close to beaches, parks, local airport and access to a variety of amenities.
We are moving to a green practice, becoming computerized, paper lite, recycling and over the next few years hope to adopt additional green strategies
We are working towards a team approach to include health and wellness for our patients.
