We’re looking for a Communications Advisor (Level 1) to join our growing team
Reporting to the Communications Manager for the direct-to-customer brands, the Communications Advisor 1 is responsible for supporting the belairdirect national Communications team in planning and implementing internal and external communications strategies and activities.
**What you’ll do here**:
Supporting the communications team on a wide range of programs and initiatives.
Drafting, editing and proofreading content to support the direct-to-consumer brand reputation, strategic priorities and business initiatives including: intranet articles, website content, presentations, speeches, and newsletters.
Assists with the development of creative graphics and video editing. Showcasing that natural storytelling ability across different communication channels and mediums.
Participate in event planning and coordination (e.g., employees and managers townhalls)
Responds to requests from internal or external customers related to communication initiatives. Oversee production and distribution of communication materials.
Conduct research to support team decision-making.
Builds strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues.
Use your stellar writing skills to create compelling and engaging communications.

**What you bring to the table**:
University degree in a Communications-related field
Entry level to 3 years of communications experience either within a public relations/marketing agency or corporate environment
Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and strong writing skills
Proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite
Knowledge of the tools in the Adobe Creative software suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Strong attention to detail - you can spot a typo a mile away
Able to manage tight deadlines
Takes initiative, is flexible and adapts easily to change
Committed to delivering high standards of client service
Willingness and ability to learn new skills to support the team
French skills are an asset
