This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, inspire a high-performing team, and advance our mission to help people and companies prosper.ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire Frontend, Backend, Data Engineering, and Infrastructure teams, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing cultureRecruit, develop, and manage top engineering talent to drive excellenceDesign and implement scalable, secure, and high-quality systems to support growthPartner with Product teams to shape and execute the technology roadmapStay ahead of emerging technologies to ensure innovation and competitive advantageOversee engineering budgets, ensuring resources are optimized effectivelyQualificationsProvide technical guidance to team leads on architecture and design decisionsManage, mentor, and communicate business and performance objectives effectively to a large teamDemonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate seamlessly with business, product, and development teamsThrive under time-sensitive delivery deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomesFoster a team-player mentality with a strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering impactful workTechnical RequirementsProgressive engineering leadership experience in enterprise or analytical software developmentExpertise in AI/ML systems and their practical applicationsProven experience with agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Delivery (CD)Mastery of modern web programming standards and microservices architecture; strong knowledge of React, Angular, NodeJS, and PythonHands-on experience with cloud computing infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) and scalable, distributed system designCompensationCompensation range for this role if located in Canada: $340,000—$415,000 CADIn addition to the salary range listed above, total compensation also includes generous equity and benefits.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your familyMental health and wellness support401(k) planUnlimited time off and location-based holidaysPaid parental leaveWork from home set up reimbursementAbout Collective[i]Collective[i] is on a mission to help people and companies prosper.
