**What you’ll do**
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- Develops, implements, and maintains DC Loss Prevention, Security and Fire Evacuation procedures and standards; ensures DC facility incidents and alarms are responded to,
- Accountable for driving the execution of the DC LP shrink strategy to achieve operational targets including shrink and program implementations.
- Provides operational LP expertise and partners closely with DC’s, Leadership teams, Learning & Development, and Health & Safety in the development, design and update of store operations modules and implementation of internal training programs.
- Collaborates with Finance and Supply Chain to leverage business intelligence such as trending and heatmaps. to inform program initiatives and identify areas of opportunities within DC’s.
- Responsible for leading and developing a team of 6 to 8 direct reports and +/- 30 Security Guards
- Designs, implements and trains DC Operations management teams and Associates on LP operations, policies and procedures including how to handle and resolve dishonest activities.
- Co-leads violence in the workplace threat assessments and partners with the appropriate resources to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provides training leadership and guidance to the Shrink Committee team members to build LP knowledge and skill capability to deliver training programs more effectively and efficiently to Associates,
- Collaborates and consults with Operations Managers and Processing Managers in identifying LP training needs and identifying resource opportunities through assessing training execution and implementations.
**What you’ll need**
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
- Post-secondary education in related field preferred
- Five (5) to (7) seven years progressive management experience in Retail, preferably off-price, with experience in operations and loss prevention is preferred, DC experience is an asset,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, information gathering and coaching; bilingualism (English/French) an asset,
- Strong investigative methodologies and experience with analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions,
- Knowledge of the global and national retail landscape and market trends to develop future strategies; solid understanding of business tools and reports to make business recommendations,
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company,
- Demonstrates management skills including organizational, negotiating, listening, conflict management and information gathering skills. Demonstrated solid people management skills including coaching, providing advice and guidance to Associates in the resolution of problems,
