**Position Summary**

Experience & expertise of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of structures, installation of drywall, texturing and painting in residential, commercial, and other structures.

- Advance knowledge of various methods and techniques of repairing, constructing and installing wooden materials.

**Job Duties**
- Able to work from plans and specifications and meet estimated timelines.
- Cuts and shapes wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Responsible for constructing, repairing, restoring and installing structures like doors, floors, walls, stairways, windows, furniture, cabinets, and shelves.
- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
- Install insulation, barrier, and drywall.
- Ensures work is completed to a high-quality standard and meets regulatory building codes.
- Install drywall taped to finish, applies or blends textures, seal and paint drywall.
- Kitchen & Bathroom cabinet and counter installation or repair
- Drywall Repair (mudding and taping)
- Painting Interior and Exterior
- Flooring repair and installation
- Handyman, General Repair & Maintenance Work

**Requirements**:

- Previous restorations experience an asset.
- College Diploma or certification in a recognized construction/carpentry course preferred
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bondable, criminal background check
- Able to work on a on call schedule
- Ability to work in a team environment.

**Working Conditions**
- Ability to drive and visit projects covering a vast geographical area.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Varied working conditions ranging from cramped areas to considerable heights.
- Work outside at various times of the year and experience a considerable range of environmental conditions.
- Good physical condition to carry materials and have the stamina to be on your feet for long periods of time.
