**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Work safely and ensure others work safely
- Be a self-starter and possess the ability to maintain a safe and organized worksite
- Plan work and communicate effectively with all team members

**Tasks may include but are not limited to**:

- Choose premixed paints or mix the required pigment, oil, thinning or drying substances to match the color spec
- Mask and prepare structure surfaces for coatings
- Clean and maintain equipment by removing all traces of paint
- Repair and remodel imperfections
- Perform exterior and interior painting of commercial and residential buildings, steel, equipment, structures, etc.
- Prepare and protect work surfaces with drop cloths and masking
- Responsible for loading, unloading, and preparing and cleaning of job sites, materials, and tools
- Provide quality work and take corrective action for conditions that may affect job quality
- Responsible for the setup and execution of tasks on scaffolding and ladders
- Utilize brush, spray gun, or paint roller to accurately paint various surfaces
- Install specified nozzles in spray guns, replace screens and filters and maintain the sprayer
- Have the ability to handle small drywall repairs

**Qualifications**:

- Red seal ticket preferred, experience in commercial painting required
- Possess the knowledge to work safely around equipment
- Strong communication skills/respectful and courteous
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a driver abstract
- Able to lift 50Kg and work in all weather conditions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
