**Job Summary**
As a Work Schedule Planner for our Toxicology team in Laval, you will be responsible for the optimal planning of the working hours of our technical staff. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
In this role, primary responsibilities include:
- Efficiently plan the daily technical schedule implementing various work shifts to minimize overtime;
- Balance individual employee workloads;
- Plan the schedule according to individual skills and restrictions;
- Plan the training depending on operational needs.
- Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- College Diploma in Administration or any related discipline;
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in work schedule planning;
- Good attention to details;
- Strong observation & organizational skills;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Good stress management;
- Team spirit.
Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.
Role Specific Information:
- Location: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;
- Transportation: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
- Salary: Starting at 27.50$/hrs;
- Annual bonus based on performance;
- Schedule: Monday to Friday weekdays. Possibility of having a condensed schedule of 4 days a week. You will also have to do a weekend rotation (1/2 or 1/3) and do overtime depending on the business needs;
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

**About Safety Assessment**Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
