OpenText has established global Centers of Excellence for Account Development to support best-in-class cloud software technology and solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with a high-performing team to attract and qualify prospects exploring OpenText solutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to generating sales opportunities, driving pipeline growth, and achieving revenue goals.
This position is ideal for energetic, tech-savvy, motivated, and creative professionals. With a strong foundation in B2B lead generation and business development, you will receive top-notch onboarding, on-the-job coaching, and personalized development to support your professional growth and future roles in Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Consultancy, or Management.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Build trusted customer relationships by acting as a business advisor and mapping the buying process with targeted contacts.
- Qualify leads using the BANT criteria (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to ensure high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
- Receive ongoing coaching and participate in skill-building activities to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding quarterly sales targets. - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and address prospects’ business challenges. - Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Creativity and resilience when researching leads and cold calling prospects.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.
- Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong analytical abilities and a track record of ownership and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of proven outbound lead generation experience in a technology environment preferred.
