We are an Independently owned **Desjardins Insurance Agency **in South Etobicoke; passionate about helping our clients recover from unforeseen losses and bettering their lives. Desjardins Insurance is the 2nd largest Property & Casualty Insurance in Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Effectively communicating Insurance products to prospects and clients.
- Provide prompt, knowlegeable, and friendly customer service and advice Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance types, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
- Meet deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Work with the Agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Meet monthly lead generation and sales/production goals.

**Requirements**:

- OTL/RIBO licence or able to get the OTL exam
- 1 year experience in the insurance industry (preferred)
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Excellent communication, written, verbal and listening skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic
- Diligent and hardworking
- Proactive in problem solving
- Able to multi task
- Quick learner
- LLQP exams (a plus but not necessary)

**Salary**: $38,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- Paid time off

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales expereince: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- excellent English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- OTL/RIBO (preferred)
