Salus Marine Wear is a Canadian PFD (Personal Flotation Device) manufacturer. We are seeking an individual who is energetic and organized to join our embroidery team. The position is full time, Monday - Friday, and based in Waterloo, Ontario.

Experience preferred, but we are more than willing to train the right person.

Duties Include:

- Operates embroidery machine to embroider logos and decorative designs on PFD pieces.
- Responsible for set up of the machine, running samples prior to processing custom orders and threading the right colors at each needle.
- Selects size and color thread and draws it through machine guides and bobbin.
- Must properly place the plastic hoops on the garment.
- Inspect product pieces for damages or defects.
- Placement is required to follow the embroidery specifications.
- Knowledgeable of all defect types that are beyond customer and internal boundaries thus ensuring each part produced meets acceptable quality standards before leaving the work station.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary detail to work.

Rate of pay will be based on experience.

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.25 per hour
