**About us**

Downtown Bistro & Grill is located in the heart of downtown Burlington. Downtown Bistro offers an interesting variety of dishes prepared daily with the freshest of ingredients. Steaks, Pasta, Seafood, Burgers and Entree salads.

**Seeking dependable, reliable and trustworthy individuals to join our dynamic team in the following **positions**
- Day line cook (10am - 4pm)
- Evening line cook (4pm - 10pm)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Preparing a varitey of meats, seafood, poultry and vegetables
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Ensure work area is clean and stocked for service
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Closes kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Two years experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Reach, bend and frequently lift up to 40 Lbs.
- Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time
- Strong communication skills
