**About the Role**

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Partner with the HR/Payroll team to understand their business processes, assess end user needs and propose system features and enhancements for increased efficiency and effectiveness
- Gather and document business requirements, create business process documentation including current and future state diagrams, identify solution gaps and design solutions, create training materials and end user documentation
- Lead Workday-related implementations, upgrades and enhancements, and provide expertise to ensure solutions are efficiently and effectively implemented
- Create comprehensive test plans to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all Human Resources and Payroll enhancements and customizations in Workday
- Conduct system testing of Workday functionality to ensure business processes are supported
- Transfer Workday knowledge to support teams through formal training sessions
- Manage the triage of escalated issues to third-party support teams
- Translate business requirements into usable configuration and technical specifications
- Configure the Workday solution to support business requirements
- Implement best practices pertaining to management of Workday security, integrations, interface design and data management
- Support SOX Compliance requests for evidence pertaining to system enhancements
- Special projects and related duties as required

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of working experience as an analyst in organizations where Workday is the system of record for HR/Payroll processes and related information
- Working knowledge of SDLC processes and tools used to manage and deliver solutions; experience with Microsoft DevOps is an asset
- Experience in an ITIL based service management organization directly supporting tier 1 & 2 incidents and requests
- Working knowledge of project management best practices
- Experience with Cloud based HR technology (Workday); ADP Workforce Now is an asset
- Practical experience with IT project management and SDLC
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance
- Must have reliable transportation

- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team as well as independently
- Reliable and punctual
