Receiver Lumber Yard

## Overview

This position will be responsible for unloading and loading all transports of stock and special orders. Verifying incoming product is correct, undamaged and rejecting any product that is damaged. Ensure stock and special orders are put in proper location while administering corresponding invoices and load documents.

Tagging special orders with customer's name a with correct paperwork and contractor sales being notified of their arrival and location.

Reporting to the yard foreman you will inform of incoming stock//special orders. As well as working very closely with our contractor sales team to support and inform.

# Qualifications/Skills
- Posses a high regard for safety in the workplace and take all necessary safety precautions when handling freight, tools and equipment.
- Solid understanding of building materials
- Being physically fit is an asset
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
- Forklift license and experience
- Ability to safely operate hand truck, lumber cart, pallet jack, banding machine etc.
- Valid Class G license with a clean driving record is considered an asset
