**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in food handling techniques, meal preparation, and cooking methods.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings based on seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, complying with health regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in planning special events or catering services as required.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, meal planning, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory; hands-on experience is highly valued.

Pay: $16.84-$26.87 per hour
