**Transit Driver - Part Time**

This may be the opportunity for you PWTransit is currently seeking a part-time Transit Driver to join our team in Spruce Grove. We offer competitive wages, ongoing training and development and a family-oriented team environment. **The driver will receive a minimum of 20 hours per week.**

Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers on a daily basis and must be committed to providing superior customer service. Commitment, patience, maturity, and initiative are all required qualities.

**Position Requirements**:

- Class 1 or 2Q driver’s license
- Previous commercial driving experience (minimum 2 years)
- Driver’s abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
- Clear criminal record
- Must be organized, punctual and reliable
- Possess excellent driving skills and habits
- Ability to read maps and navigate (familiar with Spruce Grove and Stony Plain)
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work shifts, including split shifts, and statutory holidays as necessary

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Safely transport passengers on a number of assigned routes
- Manage passenger behaviour by quickly and effectively solving problems
- Drive safely and responsibly and be prepared for all road and traffic conditions
- Provide superior customer service and assist with passenger questions/inquiries
- Cleaning of units in wash bay

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.57-$27.21 per hour
