Job Description: 2in1 Soccer Coach

Position Overview:
As a 2in1 Soccer Coach, you will be responsible for teaching basic soccer skills and fundamentals to children aged 3-12 years old. You will create and run classes at your assigned location, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. This role requires a clean criminal record and completion of BC Soccer Grassroots courses if offered the position. It is crucial for the coach to be high-energy, loud, and adept at working with children to make soccer enjoyable and maintain their attention.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Basic Soccer Skills: Instruct children in the basics of soccer, including passing, shooting, dribbling, and teamwork.
2. Create and Run Classes: Develop lesson plans and organize activities for children aged 3-12 years old.
3. Ensure Safety: Implement safety protocols and maintain a secure environment throughout all sessions.
4. Engage and Motivate: Use high energy and enthusiasm to keep children engaged and excited about soccer. Make the sport fun and enjoyable for all participants.
5. Develop Fundamental Skills: Help children develop their physical abilities, coordination, and soccer-specific skills.
6. Foster Sportsmanship: Teach and encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among young players.
7. Monitor Progress: Track the progress of each child and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
8. Communicate with Parents: Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, upcoming sessions, and any relevant information.

**Requirements**:
1. Clean Criminal Record: Ensure a clean criminal record check.
2. BC Soccer Grassroots Courses: Complete BC Soccer Grassroots courses to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
3. Passion for Soccer: A genuine love for soccer and a desire to share that passion with young children.
4. High Energy and Enthusiasm: Display a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and excitement when working with children.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with participants and their parents or guardians.
6. Patience and Adaptability: Ability to work patiently with children of different ages and skill levels, adapting coaching methods as necessary.
7. Reliable and Responsible: Maintain punctuality, reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of your coaching responsibilities.

Expected hours: 3 - 12 per week

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

- soccer coaching: 1 year (preferred)
- youth working: 1 year (preferred)
