As a Process Development Associate, you will help develop and scale up processes at the frontier of nanoparticle synthesis and bioconjugation, supporting STEMCELL Technologies' current and future business. You will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and collaborative team working on several exciting projects, providing many opportunities for you to learn and grow professionally and scientifically. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist with process development batch work to increase product and process knowledge and define operational ranges
- Operate laboratory, pilot, and production scale equipment such as reactors, pumps, heat exchangers, and filtration systems and keep accurate batch records
- Assist in all essential product maintenance and continuity activities, including batch work, supporting investigations, and documentation
- Assist in preparing project proposals, technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and product development documents for review
- Analyze data and perform calculations, identify abnormal or unexpected trends, and present experimental results at data meetings to clearly communicate conclusions and future plans

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific field
- Experience with nanoparticle synthesis and characterization techniques is an asset
- Experience with aseptic processing, operating reactors, and tangential flow filtration systems, is considered an asset
- Experience working in a regulated production environment (I.E: Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Cannabis) is considered an asset
- Good problem-solving skills with a systematic, analytical approach

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$56,270.00 - $76,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
