**Landscape Labourer**

Ghent Landscape is currently seeking labourers to join our landscape maintenance division. Suitable team members are motivated individuals that enjoy working outdoors on a daily basis and are comfortable in the operation of various landscape maintenance tools and equipment. Full-time work available immediately.

**Salary**:$18-$24/hr, dependent on experience

**Benefits**:Available after probationary period, RRSP matching available after 1 year

**Responsibilities**
- Work as a part of a landscape maintenance crew to maintain lawns and gardens
- Safely and efficiently use large and small mowers, string trimmers, blowers and various other pieces of tools and equipment
- Interact with clients and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate with supervisor to ensure job satisfaction is achieved
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety training and reporting requirements
- Required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Valid G license is an asset, transportation to our shop at 1633 Snyder's Rd E in Petersburg is required
- Responsible to provide own CSA approved safety boots
- Must be willing to work 40-50 hours per week and some weekends depending on work load
- Other duties will be assigned as required

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance is a strong asset
- Experience with all landscape maintenance equipment (blowers, trimmers, hedge trimmer, lawn mowers, various small tools, etc.) is preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent team player
- Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills
- Must be punctual and personable
- Must obtain WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety Awareness training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
