**Position Summary**:
The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for managing and delivering comprehensive reports and analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This role is crucial in supporting decision-making processes by providing accurate, timely, and insightful data related to property management operations, financial performance, and other key metrics. The Reporting Specialist will work closely with the revenue management specialist, expense and budgeting specialist, and other departments to ensure data integrity and consistency across all reports.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Collection and Management**:Gather and compile data from various sources, including Yardi Voyager, Rent Cafe, Happy Co, and other property management systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- **Report Generation**: Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, rental income, expense management, tenant turnover, and maintenance costs.
- **Financial Analysis**:Perform detailed financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management activities. Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends.
- **Custom Reporting**:Develop customized reports to meet specific needs of different departments, including operations, finance, marketing, and senior management.
- **Data Visualization**: Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create easy-to-understand dashboards and visual reports that communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing reporting processes, reduce manual work, and enhance data accuracy.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with the revenue management specialist and expense and budgeting specialist to ensure alignment and consistency in reporting. Collaborate with other departments to understand reporting needs and provide support.
- **Ad Hoc Analysis**: Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- **Compliance and Accuracy**:Ensure all reports comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Regularly validate and cross-check data to maintain accuracy.
- **Training and Support**: Provide training and support to team members on reporting tools and systems. Assist in developing user guides and training materials.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in a reporting, data analysis, or financial analysis role, preferably within the property management or real estate industry.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi Voyager, Rent Cafe) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of database management and data extraction techniques.
- **Analytical Skills**: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- **Continuous Improvement Mindset**: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions.

**Certifications (preferred)**:

- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Relevant certifications in data analytics or financial analysis

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Number of automated reporting processes implemented.
- Quality of data insights and recommendations provided.
