We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic **Murex Back Office (BO) Business Analyst** to join our growing team. As a part of a high-caliber project team, you will have the opportunity to work with leading global banking and capital market clients on their Murex transformation journey.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Analysis and documentation of user requirements and transpose into Functional Specifications
- Key liaison with Back Office and Operations user base, and primary interface between Business and IT with respect to Murex
- Validation of user requirements with the vendor
- Assist in creation of test plan, test cases and test scripts for all test phases of a project
- Perform system testing and assist with UAT
- Follow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs and issues
- Design and build on-screen/ad-hoc reports requested by users
- Contribute to user training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides, and presentations

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of experience in Murex Back Office functionality: Trade Event, confirmation, payments, settlement, fixing, netting, SSI, OSP, Swift msg, etc.
- Exposure to Accounting for Trade and position configuration
- Understanding of Financial Markets, Treasury, and related Asset-classes
- Good understanding of Murex architecture, Post trade workflows
- Good working knowledge of MxML Exchange module (interfaces) in MX.3
- Experience in developing data dictionary formula
- Experience in integrating standard external systems with Murex
- XML, XSLT working experience
- Good knowledge on Shell scripts, SQL
- Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with FX, Equity and Credit Derivative products with a basic understanding of the models to price these products a plus
- Proven ability to successfully prepare test cases based on user requirements, lead/assist execution, and obtain user signoffs a plus
- Murex 3.1 Architecture experience a plus
- Knowledge in Regulatory reporting a plus

$72,000 - $94,000 a year
- Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
