Sense of Independence offers its products to customers across Canada and the U.S. through its flagship midtown Toronto retail location and its high-volume e-commerce business. As Sense of Independence continues to expand its retail presence across multiple platforms, the company is looking to grow its team at its Lawrence Plaza location (located at Bathurst St. and Lawrence Ave. W). - Must be available to work 1 weekend shift and 1-2 weekday shifts
- Is passionate about fashion and is knowledgeable of current fashion trends
- Has a friendly, professional, and energetic disposition
- Can provide exceptional customer service
- Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
- Is confident in fast-paced, customer-centric environments
- Retail sales experience is an asset

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires
- Provide ongoing customer service while the customer is trying on merchandise (e.g. fit, fashion, and wardrobing advice, suggest add-ons, promptly remove unwanted items from the fitting room for the customer, etc.)
- Genuinely greet all customers
- Provide a friendly and welcoming environment
- Accurately and efficiently facilitate customer purchase and return transactions
- Watch for and recognize loss prevention situations and know how to prevent and handle these situations using outstanding customer service and maintaining an observant sales floor presence
- Participating in merchandise receiving, ticketing, and stocking
- Clean, vacuum, fold, steam, and replenish stock as assigned
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Follow the direction of the Store Manager
- Perform and complete other additional duties and assignments as required and/or requested

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

- Fashion retail: 1 year (preferred)
