Quality Control Technician

Nanaimo, Canada MSE Precast Ltd. Full time

We are offering a full-time year-round Quality Control position in our Nanaimo facility. Wage range is $17.50 - $25.00/hr and will scale depending upon experience and certification and we offer a benefits plan after 3 months. This role will involve shift work alternating every two months, hours will average from 37.5-40 hours per week, there is potential for overtime pay each pay period.

We are looking for a person with or without experience and we are willing to train and develop for this role and any future leadership positions. Please bring energy, enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork and organizational skills. You must have a high school diploma and a valid drivers license as well as your own transportation and in return you will gain training, knowledge, and experience.

Our current project we are starting is the Broadway Skytrain Tunnel project for Vancouver and will be the project you will be working.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Concrete testing.
- Pre and Post pour checklists.
- Signing off on from set up and finished panels.
- Keeping testing gear clean and in conformance per CSA requirements.

Training Opportunities:

- Concrete testing Certification Level 1 ACI (American concrete institute).
- First aid.
