**POSITION**: Research Analyst

**LOCATION**: Toronto, ON

**STATUS**: Full-time

**JOB OVERVIEW**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Acting as a primary liaison between the Investment Team and Marret Operations (Institutional and Private Wealth).
- Prepare client meeting packages by updating presentation materials for Marret’s funds
- Prepare ad-hoc and/or recurring reports and commentaries related to portfolio performance, holdings and outlooks
- Maintain internal reporting of certain investments
- Build and create automated solutions for structured tasks
- Support portfolio managers and senior analysts with research projects and idea generation

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- 2-3 years of investment experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously
- Competent at working under pressure and having to multi-task in an environment with increasing volumes
- Willing to learn new tasks and lend a helping hand to coworkers.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Python and SQL an asset
- University/College degree, ideally in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration
- Canadian Securities Course, IFIC, PFP and other industry courses would be an asset

Ideally working towards CFA, CIM, or CFP designation.
