**About the Role**:
At Indoc Research, we design, build and manage complex health data infrastructure for
research organizations across the globe. We deploy large scale informatics platforms
involving wide-ranging and complex health data modalities (e.g., imaging, genomics,
clinical assessments, wearables) across multiple disease areas including brain,
cardiovascular, and cancer. The Indoc Informatic platforms and services have been
implemented in numerous settings including research institutes, hospitals and
universities.
We are currently seeking a Research Operations Specialists to join Indoc’s Research
Operations team. The Research Operations Specialists will work collaboratively with
internal and external stakeholders to maintain the informatics platforms and provide
support services to ensure optimal utilization of the platform and hosted data by end
users.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in platform data management activities including but not limited to data

collection, maintenance, curation, visualization, sharing and release.
- Engage data providers, curators, and analysts in defining business requirements for

the incoming data including data ingestion, linking and query objectives
- Work with data curation teams and Indoc data engineers to design data ingestion

and federation pipelines and downstream query APIs

communication of user requirements
- Assist in configuration and implementation of platform sub-systems
- Develop User Acceptance Testing of new and updated products
- Support DevOps team, including testing and validation, communication of user

issues and requests
- Work with team members to develop new products and services to meet informatics

needs of user groups
- Work with data governance team to develop and maintain SOPs, policies and

procedures and system documentation
- Develop and maintain training modules

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years recent related experience
- Experience in study and data management and research operations in health and

medical sectors
- Broad knowledge of clinical research in an academic, hospital or industry

environment including protocol requirements, Research Ethics Board relations, and
data management best practices.
- Experience in health and research data management and knowledge of data management standards and best practices

**Additional Qualifications Considered an Asset**:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, bioinformatics or related field
